A blast from the not so distant past

Last weekend was amazing. What better to gather friends living all over the place, then foreign visitors. Not foreign like aliens, foreign like not from the US.

Friday night Laurianne arrived in Minneapolis. She was staying there until Sunday, so Saturday became our day to all hang out. With just a few e-mails Laurianne managed to gather Jason, Missy, Kirby and I for the weekend. We also met up with the Schlies for our evening meal. Talk about a mini reunion!

Jason had great things planned for us when we arrived in Minneapolis. Chipotle in the park, a walk around downtown, and a marvelous canoe ride. Add in the great conversations and the amazing church service and it turned out to be an incredible weekend. Thanks for all your planning Jason, and Laurianne thanks for giving us a great reason to all get together again!
