Notre Herisson!

A couple weeks ago Laurent and I were walking home. We live in the middle of a decently large city (I call it big, but Laurent and my Chinese friends think it is small). As we were getting close to our apartment we noticed something on the sidewalk. Laurent thought it was a large rat and moved to the street. As we got close we realized that it was a huge hedgehog. Who knew that hedgehogs live in the middle of the city. Then we started to wonder why he was sitting there. I remembered that I had seen a dead pigeon there that morning. Yes, that is right, he was in the middle of supper. We stood and watched him eating his pigeon and when he lifted his head he had feathers stuck all over his face. It was very funny! When he finally got tired of us watching him he decided to go hide in the bushes, but he had to squeeze through the fence to get to them. He pushed and pushed and finally squeezed his fat body through the bars. It was entertaining.
