Vacation

Here are a couple pictures of our travels out west.

Sea lions are so funny. You can just sit and watch them play king of the pier all day long.

My aunt works at a cheese factory. So I thought it was a necessity to show my French cheese loving in-laws an American cheese factory. After we saw the cheese being made we went to the farm where the milk comes from. In the back they had calves that were only days old. I tried to get Laurent to stick his thumb out for the calf to suck on. He was less then enthused about this idea.

We decided to make our lunch and bring it with us on our hike in the Tetons. We felt pretty good about this idea until we got on the path and saw sign after sign talking about bears. Then we wondered if we were making the right decision. We stopped pretty quickly into our hike to eat hoping the bears would be farther into the forest.

Yes this is the way we watched Old Faithful. Huddled under our umbrellas. It doesn't seem so great when you are getting wet and are freezing. We stayed long enough to see it go off and got back in the car.
